I have been asked to provide a reference for a small works contractor by the name of Romy Birsan.

Romy was introduced to me following a recommendation from a long standing friend and Carpenter called Paul Gibbs of PG Carpentry, Paul had worked with Romy on a number of small works projects including Loft Conversions and advised that i use him to tackle a difficult project at my property.

Romy carried out some small-medium demolition works at a residential property I own in Reading during the summer of 2010, I would like to confirm that Romy and his team carried out the work at my property to a very high standard, they were very punctual, hard working (7-6pm) and also polite and i found their costs very competitive against others in the market place.

Part of the works involved the demolition of a 1950’s reinforced brick built structure circa 30ft wide x 30ft long and 8ft tall, Romy and his team not only knocked down the shelter and carefully created new returns and perimetre walls, but also bagged 500 bags of rubble/concrete and 2 metres (stacked in height) of metal reinforcement rebar neatly to facilitate subsequent removal by others.

Following other failed attempts by local contractors to complete these works, Romy and his team completed this work in only 2 days, compared to programmes offered by other contractors of 1-2 weeks, which was impressive!
